Rare’s Center for Behavior & the Environment (BE.Center) aims to increase the adoption of behaviorally informed solutions within the environmental field. Our partnership with AVDF has been crucial in our goal to provide funders and their grantee communities with the knowledge, skills, and tools to design and deploy behavioral solutions. Our new project will provide accessible research on the benefits of including behavioral science in climate solutions.
With these goals in mind, and with AVDF’s support, the BE.Center will continue its efforts as a field catalyst to promote behavior-centered solutions to climate change through the following workstream:
Research and Science Translation: to circulate research at the leading edge of behavioral science for climate solutions and translate this research into widely accessible formats.
As a result, Rare expects to make research available for funders and practitioners on the necessary steps to adopt behavior-centered design principles into their giving portfolios and promote behaviorally-informed solutions.
