Given the global events impacting interfaith relations, institutions have expressed a need to respond in ways that address the growing tensions on college campuses. By continuing to capture the changing interfaith landscape and offering an additional module centered on campus protests, institutions will be able to ground their action plans on research and best practices. The purpose of the INSPIRES Index is to inform students and their families, the public, and higher education stakeholders in conversations about religious, secular, and spiritual diversity, and advancing research on college students’ religious, secular, and spiritual identities and welcoming campus climates in higher education by scorecard and recommendation reports, updated website with reprogrammed campus search tool, op-eds, national report, and conference presentations. Regarding the impact, we plan to add 75 institutions and updating information for the current 295 institutions.
