In a world where local conflict quickly goes global due to social media and misinformation, and where populists and polemicists leverage fear and anger to amass their audience and preserve their influence, religious literacy is needed today more than ever. With this grant, Christianity Today will continue to expand its savvy, theologically informed journalism and commentary to global, multi-religious cities. This journalism will help our Christian readers better understand not only other Christians in other parts of the planet, but also people of other faiths such as Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus. This will enable Christian leaders to better guide their constituents on matters of interfaith engagement, creating more effective collaboration for the common good.
