A two-year, $300,000 grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations will allow the Climate Advocacy Lab to continue our strategic communications capacity-building support for climate/health practitioners. Leveraging the insights, lessons learned, and network developed through our previous climate/health work, we will design and deliver a series of in-person workshops for up to 80 climate/health professionals and provide them with ongoing support through quarterly virtual training sessions and ongoing 1-on-1 consulting sessions. Trainings will focus on climate communications in service of behavior change. Participants will receive stipends and support to investigate key questions. We anticipate participants will report increased capacity, as well as share specific impact stories documenting their work to was positively impacted through participation in the program. All of the research, resources, training materials, and learnings from the program will be shared out regularly with the Lab’s community of 4,000+ practitioners.
Activities supported by this grant from the Arthur Vining Davis Foundations will be strictly non-lobbying as defined in section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Participant recruitment will be limited to health professionals working on 501 c3 initiatives.
